On behalf of the entire University of Illinois family, I am delighted to extend my thanks to Champaign Chinese Magazine for a decade of distinguished service to our neighbors and friends from China on campus and across the community. The U of I System is proud of connections fostered more than a century ago that have made Urbana-Champaign one of the nation’s top destinations for Chinese students, faculty and staff. Those deep ties have helped earn our place as one of the world’s most prestigious universities and have enhanced the cultural diversity that prepares each and every student to succeed in an increasingly global world. I am grateful to Champaign Chinese Magazine for the important role that it has played, providing unique insights into the many wonderful opportunities available here in a first-class publication with a familiar, back-home feel.
